Strictly Come Dancing 2018: ‘I feel SICK’ Seann and Katya drama causes Kate Garraway upset | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Comedian Seann, 32, and his Russian dance partner Katya, 29, finally won favour from the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel with their rousing performance to the Matrix theme tune last weekend.

Yet just as they reached their first crowning moment on the BBC competition, pictures of the couple smooching outside a London pub completely overshadowed it.

Plenty of celebrities in the media have revealed their feelings on the couple’s mistake, especially in the aftermath of Seann’s ex-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries posting her own statement on Twitter.

What’s more, Seann and Katya appeared on BBC Two companion series It Takes Two to apologise for their actions with presenter Zoe Ball, and revealed they are focusing on their next dance for week four – the Charleston.

Now though, Good Morning Britain presenter Kate, 51, has opened up on the furore surrounding the couple, claiming it makes her feel “sick”.

Speaking to her co-hosts Ben Shephard, Charlotte Hawkins and showbiz reporter Richard Arnold, Kate said: “Seann Walsh and Katya – that is a very public romance that they would probably like to be a little less public.

“We’ve always been fans of Strictly for years, I think we all love it and what we talk about is the chemistry and the romance.

“But when that chemistry sort of spills over, we just want the fantasy.”

The journalist continued: “I on a personal level feel for them, as you all know it’s a big night tomorrow night.”

“[But] I feel sick for them and all the emotions that goes with it,” Kate added.

Earlier on in the programme, the presenter discussed the criticism over Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s royal wedding at Windsor castle today.

At first Kate referenced the issue with tax payers’ money being used to fund the nuptials, but insisted viewers need to get onboard.

She said: “There’s been a lot of sniping about this royal wedding and whether tax payers’ money should go into it.

“[But I think] they are so in love, so lets celebrate it,” the broadcast host shared.

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One and Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.

The presenter went on to clarify: “They’re not a direct line to the throne.

“It was different for William and Kate and [Prince] Harry and Meghan [Markle].”

ITV continues its coverage of the royal wedding at 9.15am.

This Morning hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford take to the pop-up studio to report on everything from the exciting ceremony.
